The Charleston Civic Chorus exits to:

• Encourage choral singing in the Greater Charleston Area
  
• Promote the study and performance of large choral works, both sacred and secular.
  
• Provide performance opportunities for advanced local singers, both as members of
  the chorus and as soloists
  
• Introduce Charleston audiences to the rich legacy of great music for choral ensembles.
  
• Present quality choral music written by composers of today.
